Where to get your Shikshak Cashless Chikitsa card
The card is issued under the Mukhyamantri Shikshak Cashless Chikitsa Yojana of the Government of Uttar Pradesh, and downloaded from the Ayushman Bharat beneficiary portal once your e-KYC is done.
Start from the scheme website
Open your department’s Mukhyamantri Shikshak Cashless Chikitsa Yojana website and choose Complete e-KYC and Download Your Card. It takes you to the Ayushman Bharat (PMJAY) beneficiary portal. If the website doesn’t show that option, open the beneficiary portal directly.
Do the e-KYC
Log in with your registered mobile number and the OTP. Fill in the e-KYC, and choose Mukhyamantri Shikshak Cashless Chikitsa Yojana as the sub-scheme under PMJAY. Finish the Aadhaar check.
Download the card
Log in again with the same mobile number, find your name in the beneficiary list and press Download Card in front of it. Save the health card as a PDF. Each family member’s card is downloaded the same way, after their e-KYC.
Still waiting for approval?
The application goes to your principal or BEO first, then to the BSA, DIOS or university registrar. You get an SMS to do e-KYC once it is approved.
Printing the Shikshak Cashless Chikitsa card
- Print at 100% or Actual size. Fit to page makes the card smaller than 85.6 × 54 mm.
- Print on A4 or 4×6 paper. Pick the paper from the arrow next to Print.
- Save gives JPEG A4 or JPEG 4×6 (the sheet as it prints), JPEG Crop (the card alone) or Word. Each prints at the right size from any viewer set to 100%.
- For a PVC card printer, pick PVC card from the arrow next to Print. Standard (300 dpi) suits most card printers. Choose High (600 dpi) if small text looks soft.
- If the card has a back, A4 prints the front and back side by side. Cut along the edges, fold, and laminate. On 4×6 the back prints under the front, so cut out both sides and laminate them back to back.
