Where to get your Farmer ID
The Farmer ID comes from AgriStack, the national farmer registry, which each state runs through its own Farmer Registry portal.
From your state’s Farmer Registry
Each state has its own portal, such as upfr.agristack.gov.in for Uttar Pradesh. Once your registration is approved, log in and download the Farmer ID from your dashboard, where your state offers it.
From a CSC or a village camp
A CSC, or a registration camp in your village or block, can register you and get the Farmer ID for you. Take your Aadhaar and your land records.
Printing the Farmer ID card
- Print at 100% or Actual size. Fit to page makes the card smaller than 85.6 × 54 mm.
- Print on A4 or 4×6 paper. Pick the paper from the arrow next to Print.
- Save gives JPEG A4 or JPEG 4×6 (the sheet as it prints), JPEG Crop (the card alone) or Word. Each prints at the right size from any viewer set to 100%.
- For a PVC card printer, pick PVC card from the arrow next to Print. Standard (300 dpi) suits most card printers. Choose High (600 dpi) if small text looks soft.
- If the card has a back, A4 prints the front and back side by side. Cut along the edges, fold, and laminate. On 4×6 the back prints under the front, so cut out both sides and laminate them back to back.
Questions
Why do I need a Farmer ID?
In more and more states it is needed for PM-Kisan instalments and other farm schemes. It links your Aadhaar with your land records, so you don’t have to prove them again for each scheme.
Does the card look the same in every state?
Each state runs its own Farmer Registry, so the card can differ a little from state to state. Any Farmer ID PDF that shows the card crops the same way.
Does the Farmer ID PDF have a password?
Usually not. If a PDF does ask for one, E-Card Cutter shows a password box before cropping.
Can I print the Farmer ID card on a PVC card?
Yes. Pick PVC card from the arrow next to Print. Each side prints on its own at CR80 size (85.6 × 54 mm), for card printers that print one side at a time. If your printer prints from its own software, Save or Copy each side and open it there. Standard (300 dpi) suits most card printers. Choose High (600 dpi) if small text looks soft.
Is my Farmer ID PDF uploaded anywhere?
No. The PDF is opened and cropped in your browser, on your phone or computer. It isn’t sent to any server.
