About

Crop ID cards in your browser.

E-Card Cutter turns an official e-document PDF into a pocket-size print. On-device AI finds the card. You save or print. The file is not uploaded to us.

What it does

Government portals give you a full-page PDF of an ID card — Aadhaar, PAN, and others. That page is built for a printer, not a wallet. E-Card Cutter finds the card on the page and crops it to standard pocket size so you can print it, laminate it, or keep a copy on your phone.

No account, no upload. Cropping, saving and printing never send us the PDF, its password, or anything printed on the card. A file reaches us only if you choose to report a bad crop. The privacy policy has the details.

How a crop happens

  1. Choose the PDF

Pick the official file, or drop it on the crop page. It opens in this tab.

  2. Unlock if needed

Type the password on the page. It is used only to open that file in your browser.

  3. AI finds the card

On-device AI locates the card and lines up front and back for a pocket print.

  4. Print or save

Print at true card size, save the image, or tidy the edges in the editor.

Cards we support

9 official documents are supported today. Use an original PDF from the issuing portal — not a scan, photo, or file rebuilt by another tool.

For a clean crop

  • Download a fresh PDF from the official portal — UIDAI, Income Tax, ECI, and the other issuers linked on each crop page.
  • Do not pre-unlock, flatten, or re-export the file with a third-party PDF tool if you want the automatic crop to work.
  • Scanned printouts and camera photos are not supported yet. The tool is built for digital e-documents.
  • If a result is off, tap the card and nudge the edges in the editor rather than forcing a bad source file.

Common questions

Not to E-Card Cutter. Cropping, saving and printing do not send the file, the password, or the details printed on the card. The only exception is a crop report, which you choose to send. Visiting the website still uses ordinary web traffic for the page itself. Third-party tools on the site are described in the privacy policy.

No. E-Card Cutter is an independent utility. It does not issue Aadhaar, PAN, or any other identity document. Download those PDFs from the issuing authority, then use this tool only to crop and print what you already have.

Yes. Cropping, saving and printing are free, and there is no account to make.

Open the built-in editor from the result, then adjust the edges, gap, or rotation before you print or save.

Yes on documents that hold more than one card, such as many Jan Aadhaar files. Each card can be printed or saved on its own, or all at once.

Write to help@ecardcutter.com, or join the Telegram group with an unexpected result, or start from the matching crop page for your document.
