Instructions and Tips

Follow these instructions to make sure the cards are cropped correctly.

  • Use the Sambal card PDF exactly as downloaded. A photo, a screenshot or a PDF saved again from another app may not crop well.
  • The Sambal card PDF usually opens without a password. If it asks for one, a password box appears here.
  • Cropping for several people? Press Add to print list after each card, then Print all to put up to 5 cards on one A4 sheet.
  • Border not quite right? Press Edit under the result to move it.
  • If a card doesn't crop the way you expect, tell us in our Telegram Group Chat so we can fix it.

Where to get your Sambal card

The Sambal card is issued by the Government of Madhya Pradesh to registered unorganised workers.

  1. From the Sambal portal

    On the Sambal portal, choose Download Sambal Card, enter your Aadhaar or Sambal registration number and the OTP, and download the card.

  2. From an MP Online kiosk or your panchayat

    If you can't download it yourself, an MP Online kiosk, or the gram panchayat or urban body where you registered, can print it for you.

Printing the Sambal card

  • Print at 100% or Actual size. Fit to page makes the card smaller than 85.6 × 54 mm.
  • The JPEG prints at the right size from any photo or PDF viewer set to 100%. The Word file already has the card placed at its exact size.
  • For PVC card printers, Standard (300 dpi) suits most printers. Choose High (600 dpi) if small text looks soft.
  • On paper, print front and back side by side, cut along the edges, fold, and laminate.

Questions

Who can get a Sambal card?

Unorganised workers who live in Madhya Pradesh and are registered under the Mukhyamantri Jan Kalyan (Sambal) Yojana, after Aadhaar verification.

Does the Sambal PDF have a password?

Usually not. If a PDF does ask for one, E-Card Cutter shows a password box before cropping.

Is my Sambal PDF uploaded anywhere?

No. The PDF is opened and cropped in your browser, on your phone or computer. It isn't sent to any server.

What Sambal is

Sambal, the Mukhyamantri Jan Kalyan (Sambal) Yojana, is a Government of Madhya Pradesh scheme for unorganised workers and their families, started in 2018.

Registered families can get help such as accident and death assistance, maternity support and education support for children, paid directly into their bank account.
